More than 200 million people live in the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), where cooperation is expanding in areas such as politics, economy, trade, culture, transportation, energy, digital transformation, agriculture, tourism, as well as in security and defense industries.
According to AZERTAC, the geographical location of Turkic-speaking countries along the historical Silk Road enables them to play a significant role in the growing trade turnover between East and West. Statistical data shows that the daily trade turnover between China and European countries exceeds $1 billion. The positioning of Turkic states on this crucial trade route fosters the OTS’s development into a major economic power in the region. The combined trade turnover of OTS member countries in the global economy amounts to $536 billion.
Today, OTS member countries are strategically located along the Middle Corridor, which is considered critical on both global and regional scales. This corridor connects Europe and Asia through essential oil, gas, and transportation routes, making it of strategic importance to OTS member states. The gross domestic product (GDP) of OTS member states totals $1.5 trillion, and their trade turnover amounts to $1.2 trillion. Overall, OTS member countries account for 1% of the world’s land area and 2.4% of global trade turnover.
One of the greatest impacts of branding is the sense of ownership it instills in individuals. A unified branding approach among OTS member countries will increase interest in the products and services they produce and offer.
The term "Made in Turan" refers to the unified branding of products manufactured by OTS member states. Special incentives for the "Made in Turan" brand are expected to enhance trade turnover between member countries and strengthen economic ties. Implementing the "Made in Turan" brand also signifies a new phase for Turkic world brands. Through this branding strategy, Turkic states’ products will make confident strides toward becoming global brands, boosting trade turnover between Turkic states with the help of special advantages.
The "Made in Turan" brand will contribute to the recognition of the Turkic world as a significant global economic power.
